Rev. Tom Phillips
Born in Hamilton. Married to Evonne with two adult children (Bronwyn and Matthew). A school teacher before commencing full-time ministry, I spent 8 ½ years in Tapanui before coming to First Church in 2002. I am passionate about teaching and preaching Jesus Christ and enthusing others to serve God with their gifts.
Warrick Baty
(Children’s Pastor)
Warrick is a born and bred in Papakura-ite. He is married to Elizabeth with three children (Joshua, Zoe and Daniel). From 1992 to 1995 Warrick worked as a Registered Nurse in the children’s wards at Middlemore Hospital. Warrick linked with First Church 1993, and became the Children’s Pastor shortly after. He is also a Student Support worker at Cosgrove Primary school, enjoys being a kids soccer coach, and supports the Auckland Blues! Warrick became an Elder in 2006 and is currently the Discipleship Team Elder.
Noelene Cossey – Administrator
Lived in Papakura all her life, and most of the time been a member of First Church.
Married to Dennis, with one married daughter (Melanie).
Dennis and I like to go fishing, whenever we can.
