Every Sunday morning as part of the 10:45 service during the school term our youth programme runs for Year 7 and up students. This is a time of teaching and discipling facilitated by fantastic leaders. During these times the youth are taught about Jesus and how they can live out their faith.
Social Events
Every couple of weeks usually on a Saturday night we’ll have some type of social activity like Ten Pin Bowling, Pool Party, Movie night etc. These are great times to bring non church friends along to as well.
After Church Munchies
After Sunday night services all those who want to, can cruise across the road to Wendy’s for a while, just to hang out before catching a ride home. (For year 9 up.)
Outreach Opportunities
Every January we take away a team of young people on a week long outreach mission trip somewhere in the North Island.
Youth are an important part of our church and we are committed to giving you an opportunity to get to know about a God that loves you and has promised to be there for you 24 / 7, and helping you to find your God given purpose in life.
Every single one of us is great and wonderfully made and planned for a purpose and a destiny.
At First Church we help young people to discover and develop the gifts and talents they have and provide them with opportunities to use those gifts to help others.
